Former Indian cricketer hails RaGa’s hug as a ‘dignified action’

Kambli was delighted on seeing Mr.Gandhi hugging the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha yesterday.

The temple of democracy witnessed its first no-confidence motion against Modi led government and the opposition left no stone unturned in its attempt to corner ruling party.

In order to show his humbleness, Rahul went to Modi and hugged him, stating that he doesn’t hate him and his colleagues despite their abuses and personal attack to him.

Kambli who started his political career in 2009 was impressed by Mr Gandhi and the way he conducted himself during the debate. He took to Twitter to praise the Congress President.


After facing severe criticism and humiliation, in his political career, Congress President Rahul Gandhi did something which nobody had expected. After attacking PM Modi with all his scathing remarks and criticism, RaGa went on to hug him thereby making it the talk of the town.

Though Modi seemed to be in a shock at first, he then shook hands and smiled with Gandhi.

Along with his hugging, a clip of Gandhi winking at a fellow parliamentarian has also gone viral, thus giving people the liberty to make a joke on him as always, and commenting that Gandhi may have finally ‘come of age’ in his political career.

Vinod Kambli has been very much active on social media these days and he is trying to interact with his followers. He was also delighted recently that Arjun Tendulkar, son of his close friend Sachin Tendulkar, took his maiden wicket in the debut game for India U19.

Kambli was pleased to see Tendulkar Jr. take a wicket in his first ever match for India U19 and congratulated him on Twitter. But Arjun didn’t didn’t bat quite well and got out on a duck. It would be interesting to watch him in the second and final game of the series now.
