GT Playing 11: Gujarat Titans made a mess of their run chase against Mumbai Indians the other night. They now have lost two games on the trot and all of a sudden their high-run has definitely bumped into some obstacles. Gujarat Titans now need to regroup and focus on their next game which is against the new table-toppers Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday night at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
With two losses on the trot, Gujarat’s momentum has definitely taken a toll. Although they defeated Lucknow Super Giants in their tournament opener by 5 wickets, however, LSG is playing some really good cricket now and Gujarat can not afford to take them lightly.
The two teams squared off in the season opener last time around and it was the Titans who toppled Super Giants quite comprehensively by 5 wickets.

Gujarat Titans need to regroup and rethink their strategies. Gujarat Titans haven’t done anything wrong in their last two games but somehow they haven’t been able to finish off games. Hardik Pandya the skipper has been good but Pandya the batter hasn’t been at his best in the last two games. The skipper needs to put some money on his wicket and anchor the innings, especially in the middle overs as GT’s middle order lacks experience.
Should Yash Dayal return to the eleven? Pradeep Sangwan has been good in the three games he has featured so far. However, Yash Dayal was quite impressive for GT this season. He was among the wickets in almost every game and if he is fit, GT should bring him back for Sangwan.

More or less, GT is expected to feature a similar eleven from the last game. Abhinav Manohar might return to the eleven for Sai Sudharsan who’s strike-rate is definitely on the lower side. Also, if Yash Dayal is available he might replace Pradeep Sangwan.
