India will play against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Cricket icon master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who represented India in six World Cups, has offered a piece of advice for Team India ahead of the marquee game.

Amir-Wahab vs Kohli-Rohit

Tendulkar mentioned that Pakistan Team will target Kohli and Rohit Sharma with pace and both players should be alert during the initial part of their innings.

“I wouldn’t go in with a negative mindset of playing dot balls against him. If you get an opportunity, I would encourage India to play their shots and stay positive,” Tendulkar said.

“It’s not about survival but rather going out there and even defend positively. No need to do anything different We need to be aggressive in all departments. The body language is important the bowler knows that you’re in control if you defend confidently,” he added.

“Rohit and Virat are the two more experienced players in the lineup ad Pakistan would be focusing on getting them early without any doubt as that opens the game for them,” said Tendulkar

“Amir and Wahab will definitely target theor wickets early on. But Virat and Rohit shoild also be looking to play long innings. The plan should be that the rest of the guys play around them,” he said.

India will play against Pakistan without their star left-handed opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan who has been ruled out due to a fractured thumb. KL Rahul will substitute him at the top of the order.
