IND vs ENG: Fielder caught napping! Rory Burns dramatically miss regulation slip catch to give Rohit Sharma a reprieve – WATCH

The test series between England and India has become quite interesting due to both teams being quite competitive in the field and displaying the aggression which has caught the eyes of the audience watching the game on the field or in TV sets. After a disappointing performance in the 2nd Test Match, the England team have made a comeback in an emphatic way and won the 3rd Test match in a confident manner. In the 4th Test Match as well, they have taken the lead of 99 runs in the 1st innings.

Rory Burns caught napping in 4th Test

The England opening batsman Rory Burns has been impressive in the test series and has provided contribution in the last few test matches. But, his performance with the bat was dismal where he was dismissed for a score of 5 by Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Then in the fielding department, he missed a regulation catch of Indian opener Rohit Sharma in the 3rd session of the ENG vs IND 4th Test.

The ball did carry nicely to the England opener’s leg and it was quite an easy catch for a slip fielder. Rory Burns was quite shocked by his effort after failing to take the catch and gave the reaction as if he didn’t saw the ball coming towards him.

Indian openers End the Day well

The Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul ended the day in a positive way and India are at 43/0 after the end of Day 2. It will take a lot of effort from both the batters to build the innings well and play out the 1st session well to give Indian a little edge and confidence to the players like Kohli, Pujara and Rahane who will coming to the crease after them. One of the positives for the Indian team will be the weather be sunny and good for the batters.
