IND vs ENG: Jasprit Bumrah imitates Anil Kumble in nets ahead of Test series – WATCH

Team India will take on England in the 4-match Test series from 5 February and the players are practicing hard in the nets for the IND vs ENG series. Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah had some fun during the training session as he imitated legendary leg-spinner Anil Kumble‘s bowling action and bowled some leg-breaks.

Bumrah spearheaded India’s bowling attack in the first 3 Tests against Australia but couldn’t feature in the 4th Test due to fitness issues. The fast bowler is now recovering and is a part of India’s squad for the India vs England Test Indseries where he is again expected to lead India’s pace department.

Bumrah is currently training for the first Test and during the training sessions, he bowled a few deliveries as a leg-spinner. He might have done this as he doesn’t want to strain his body so early and wants to just get in a rhythm after recovering from the injury.

Whatever the reason, Bumrah looked pretty good with his leg-spins and in fact had a close class against a left-hand batsman. His action had a close resemblance to former Indian spinner Anil Kumble’s action.

Will the Boom Boom magic work in home conditions?

The IND vs ENG Test series could possibly decide the finalists of the World Test Championship. So this is a very important series for the Indian team. And the Test series is important for Bumrah as well as this is his first Test appearance in home conditions.
