IND vs ENG

After a comprehensive 317-run victory in the second India vs England Test match in Chennai to level the four-match Test series 1-1, Team India is ready to take on England in the third Test match which will be a pink-ball day-night affair starting from February 24 in Ahmedabad. This will be India’s third pink-ball Test match and just second at home after that celebrated first day-night Test win against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in 2019. In order to seal that crucial spot in the final of the ICC World Test Championship alongside New Zealand, the Virat Kohli-led Indian team will have to win atleast one of the remaining two Tests against England and cannot even afford to lose any of the games.

IND vs ENG: Rishabh Pant introduces fans to his new friend

Ahead of the much-awaited pink-ball Test match against England, India’s swashbuckling left-hander was seen having some fun controlling the drone camera to give the fans an experience about the team’s net session. Pant also introduced the drone camera as his “new friend” that he has named “Spidey”.

IND vs ENG: What will be India’s bowling attack for the day-night Test?

It will be a great moment in the history of Indian cricket as the world’s largest cricket ground with a capacity of 1,10,000, the Sardar Patel Stadium will be hosting its first-ever international game. With the conditions expected to be a lot different, it will be quite interesting to predict India’s bowling attack for the pink-ball Test match at the newly built Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. India is likely to make just one change in their playing XI with Jasprit Bumrah replacing Kuldeep Yadav as the conditions are expected to assist the fast bowlers. Therefore, the trio of Ishant Sharma, who will play his 100th Test match, alongside Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah will be the three pacers with Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel as the two specialist spinners in the team.
