IND vs ENG Stats : The second Test match between India and England began at MA Chidambram Stadium in Chennai today, 13th February. Team India won the toss and opted to bat first and finished the day at 300/6 in 88 overs. Earlier India lost opener Shubman Gill for a duck. Rohit Sharma counter attacked and kept scoring runs but England spinners took Pujara and Kohli’s wicket before lunch and put India on back foot but Rohit Sharma was rock solid and along with Ajinkya Rahane shared a good partnership of 162 runs and brought India back in the game. Rohit Sharma played a great knock of 161 runs off 231 balls with 18 fours and 2 sixes, Rahane scored 67 runs and at stumps Rishabh Pant was batting on 33 with Axar Patel and on a tough track India have really done well so far.
