IND vs ENG Stats : India will face off England in the third Test which is also a day night Test at Motera Stadium in Ahemdabad from Wednesday, 24 February. The series is leveled at 1-1 after India’s impressive win in the second Test at Chennai last week and now they will look to continue their winning momentum. On the other side, England who couldn’t perform at good level in second Test will be eager to bounce back here and both the teams should put up good fight to take the lead in series.

100 – Ishant Sharma will be playing his 100th Test match for India. He will become the second Indian pacer after Kapil Dev to achieve this milestone.

34 – Virat Kohli hasn’t scored a hundred in his last 34 international innings and coincidently his last international hundred came in day night Test against Bangladesh in Kolkata in 2019.

400 – R Ashwin needs 6 more wickets to become the fourth Indian to take 400 or more Test wickets after Anil Kumble, Kapil Dev and Harbhajan Singh.

1000 – Joe Root needs 119 more runs to complete 1000 Test runs on Indian soil. Only Alastair Cook (1235) has scored more than 1000 Test runs in India from England.

1000 – R Ashwin needs 60 more runs to complete 1000 runs against England in Test cricket. He has 940 runs at 39.16 in 17 Tests with 1 hundred and 6 fifties.
