The India tour of England has been one of the interesting series this year. The test series garnered a lot of attention due to the backslash by former England cricketers about the pitch. Michael Vaughan was not happy with the pitch, but Kevin Pietersen said England batsmen could not get a good start and gave away wickets too easily. The T20I series is being played at the same venue, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The first T20I saw England being terrific with the ball which helped the team to keep India at a below-par score. The bowler Jofra Archer picked 3 wickets. Then, the performances from the top-4 batsmen made the chase easy.
Washington Sundar got fired up after Bairstow came through the caught & bowled catch off Malan in his bowling. Jonny rushed back inside the crease to avoid the run-out, in his process to turn back, he deflected the ball off his helmet and that made Washington fired up and he instantly spoke a word or two on his face, which eventually made Bairstow angry, as he did not deflect the ball deliberately and was just done by fluke.
At the same moment, Virat a little away from the incident had a wide smile on his face. Bairstow even had a word with the umpire and pointed out to Virat about what’s happening. At the last, both had a handshake with a smile to end the cold war.

The England team got off to a good start in the T20I series and take the 1-0 lead. The bowling, as well as batting department of the visiting team, performed quite well. The Indian team would look to improve their batting performance in the upcoming matches. While bowlers can be effective if a good score is given for them to defend against the England team. The Indian team is known for their comebacks and it is expected that we will have a strong competition in the next matches.
