IND vs NZ: Rohit Sharma FAN Invades the Field in the second T20I – WATCH

The Indian T20I captain Rohit Sharma has been one of the finest performers for the country in the white ball cricket. He has helped the Mumbai Indians to win the IPL title for 5 times, and has built legacy with his captaincy. He is said to be the T20I captain for the Indian team for the next few years and would look to continue the good performances. Apart from the people who have been outpouring love for the captain on social media, the fan at the stadium invaded the field in the 2nd T20I between India and New Zealand to meet his idol Rohit Sharma.

The fan breached the security and tried to touch the feet of Rohit Sharma. The cricketer politely greeted the fan with respect and told him to leave the field.

India Clinical to win T20I Series

The Indian team secured a confidence boosting victory in the 2nd T20I against New Zealand and have won the series as well. The bowlers put their best effort to contain the opposition for a score of 153 runs, which was clearly below par score, due to the belter of a surface and a heave dew. The debutant Harshal Patel was the pick of the bowler with 2 wickets, while others picked 1 wicket each.

Then in the batting deparment, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma scored half centuries to guide the team in laying a strong platform. The wicket keeper Rishabh Pant hit two sixes in the 18th over to seal the victory by 7 wickets.
