Ross Taylor managed to score just 11 runs facing 37 deliveries before getting dismissed by Mohammed Shami. However, the Indian bowlers kept on the tempo of wickets ramping high as the New Zealand batting duo of Henry Nicholls and BJ Watling failed to contribute much in this India vs New Zealand World Test Championship Final match. Ishant Sharma got the better of Henry Nicholls as Rohit Sharma took a brilliant catch in the slips while Shami bowled an amazing delivery to clean bowled Watling. After the end of the first session of play, New Zealand find themselves in a spot of bother at 135 for 5 with Kane Williamson still there unbeaten at 19 and Colin de Grandhomme is yet to get off the mark.
