Hardik Pandya HATTRICK of Sixes: All-rounder Hardik Pandya finished the Indian innings in style as the 28-year-old hit three sixes in a row off Cameron Green’s last three deliveries, to finish the Indian innings. With the help of Pandya’s blistering unbeaten knock of 71 runs in merely 30 deliveries, India posted a huge total of 208 runs for the loss of six wickets. Pandya smashed seven fours and five sixes during his time on the crease. His strike rate was over 236 to lift the Indian innings with assistance from Suryakumar Yadav in the middle.

India, earlier in Mohali, lost the toss and had to bat first. The side lost Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli within the powerplay overs. Moreover, on the fifth delivery, he hit it over the long off, and finally, the third one, Pandya went on to hit the ball over the deep third man.

Besides, Australia’s Nathan Ellis picked up three wickets for his side, while Josh Hazlewood picked two.

Australia to chase 209 runs in 20 overs

The visitors will open the innings with skipper Aaron Finch and Green and will be chasing a huge target of 209 runs in 120 deliveries.
