This must send shivers to the England batsman who will be coming next to the crease as the set batsman who had made a half century could not pick the ball which sharply turned through the rough patches of the Day 5 Pitch.
The opener of the England team, Haseeb Hameed made his test debut against India in Rajkot, 2016 and scored a half-century. But he sustained an injury during the same match and scored 31 & 82 respectively in the 1st and 2nd innings respectively, which clearly displayed his talent at an age of 19.
The injury concerns have been persistent with the batter that impacted his international career as well. After the failures of players like Dominic Sibley and Zack Crawley, he finally got an opportunity to play for England against India in the 2021 Test series after a fine success with Nottinghamshire in the County Championship. In the 3rd and 4th Test Match, he has scored a half-century.
