The Rohit Sharma-led Indian men’s cricket team is set to face England as their next assignment in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia. The game will be played at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday (November 10), at 1:30 PM (IST).
The opposition, England, are much more familiar to India. Sharma, in July 2022, led his side to win the three-match bilateral T20I series 2-1, away from home.
However, the English men too have put on a pretty well performance. Before heading into the T20 World Cup, they defeated Australia, the hosts, in three-match T20I series, away from home. Further, carrying on the consistency, they qualified for the semi-final as the number two team in Group 2.

They finished the group-stage schedule with three victories in their account and booked a spot in semi-final 2.

Besides, the semi-final 1 between Pakistan and New Zealand is over and Pakistan have won the derby by seven wickets. The winner of India vs England game will further face Pakistan on November 13, at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
