India vs Windies 4th ODI: Three players to watch out for

Contrary to what most fans and cricket analysts expected, India and Windies are all set for the fourth ODI with the series still alive. Courtesy of some inspired batting performances by Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer and some effective bowling at the right occasions, the visitors have pushed India to a corner and hence India will be expected to come out to all guns blazing at Mumbai on October 29th.

And as both the teams lock horns for the fourth time in this ODI series, make sure to watch out for these three Indian players.

3.Kuldeep Yadav-

The team management was heavily criticised for resting the wrist spinner in the first ODI but his inclusion in the next two ODIs hasn’t delivered any magical results for India. The duo of Hetmyer and Hope have played Kuldeep with caution and have come out unscratched against him so far which is surprising because the Indian spinner has a history of troubling even the best batsmen in the middle overs.

In the second ODI, Yadav got three wickets but was ransacked for 67 runs in his 10 overs and in the third ODI he conceded 52 runs. He will be tested once again by the Windies batsmen at Mumbai as they have the power to clear the ropes.

2. MS Dhoni-

The axing of Dhoni from the T20 team was not a matter of ‘why’ but a matter of ‘when’  and things aren’t too bright for him in the ODI format. Presence of Rishabh Pant is already putting pressure on him and his string of low scores has only added to his miseries.

But in the past, Dhoni has shown that he can comeback and fans will be expecting that he comes good in the fourth ODI.

1. Virat Kohli-

All eyes will be on this man as he enters the field tomorrow with one more elusive record well within his reach. He needs one more hundred to become the only batsman to score four consecutive hundreds in ODIs. And speaking about hundreds, Kohli has three in his last three innings, six in 2018 and eight in his last 15 innings. So going by numbers, a hundred at Mumbai is very much possible for Kohli.
