There have been confirmed reports of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise retaining 3 players, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Mohammed Siraj for the next 3 years. Both the players did well in the IPL 2021 season, especially Glenn Maxwell getting back to his original self in the RCB jersey. The other players like Devdutt Padikkal, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Harshal Patel were also in the fray of getting retained but the franchise have not opted to select any of them.
