Prior to the season beginning in April this year, not many would have expected Moeen Ali to be the third name of the retention list. However, Moeen Ali has answered his critics in style as he proved to be one of the most valuable players for his side in the season-winning campaign. The Englishman was given an opportunity to bat at number three, and took his chances on most occasions. He has been retained for a price tag of Rs 8 cr.
