IPL Mega Auction: The excitement bar for the IPL 2022 auction has already taken its toll on many fans. A total of 1,214 players registered themselves for the IPL 2022 auction, among which 896 were Indians and 318 were overseas players. Out of 1,214 players, only 590 were shortlisted by the IPL governing council. They are set to go under the hammer when the mega-auction will take place in Bangalore on February 12 and 13.
Let’s take a look at 48 players who have set their base price for 2 Crores in IPL Mega Auction.
Out of 590 players, that are set to go under the hammer, 48 have set themselves a base price of ₹2 crores. Among those 48 players, 17 are Indians, 10 are from England and 7 are from Australia. 5 Proteas players have also set themselves a base price of ₹2 crores while there are 2 players each from West Indies, Bangladesh and New Zealand along with one player from Afghanistan in this category.

Indian players include R Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammad Shami, Devdutt Padikkal, Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa, Krunal Pandya, Harshal Patel, Dinesh Karthik, Ambati Rayudu, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Yuzvendra Chahal.
Jason Roy, Sam Billings, Mark Wood, Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan, Jofra Archer, James Vince, Saqib Mahmood, David Wiley and Craig Overton are the players from England that have set themselves a base price of ₹2 crores in IPL Mega Auction.

Players with a base price of ₹2 crores in the IPL Mega Auction from Australia are Pat Cummins, David Warner, Steve Smith, Matthew Wade, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar. While Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir and Marchant de Lange are from South Africa.
Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman and Mujeeb Ur Rahman are from New Zealand, West Indies, Bangladesh and Afghanistan respectively.
