Karachi Kings will head into PSL 2022 with a pretty well-balanced squad. Babar Azam will lead Karachi Kings in the seventh edition of the tournament, as he was appointed the skipper just a few weeks before the event begins.
Karachi Kings, who won the PSL title in 2020 did not fare as well last year. The defending champions finished fourth in the league stages, but bowed out in the Eliminator against Peshawar Zalmi.
Imad Wasim, former skipper of Karachi Kings has sent his best wishes to the newly appointed skipper, Babar Azam. Romario Shepherd will be unavilable for the PSL season 7, and he has been replaced by Tom Lammonby. Tom Abell has also been replaced by fellow English batsman, Ian Cockbain.
