I love the way Virat plays. He is my favourite. Isn’t he already the next Sachin Tendulkar? After all, he’s the reason why we are winning so many matches in succession.

Virat Kohli – the next Sachin Tendulkar?

As Kareena said, fans have already started the comparisons between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Sachin Tendulkar is arguably the greatest player ever to play the game but if we look at the stats of Virat Kohli, one can surely say that he is well on his way to achieve greatness. Virat Kohli has scored 43 ODI tons as of now and he is only second to Sachin who has 49 ODI centuries. When it comes to the run scoring charts, Virat has close to 12k ODI runs with a minimum of 4-5 years of cricket remaining in him. If we include his captaincy skills in the mix, he is currently leading team India in all three formats successfully for last 4 years.
