Kaviya Maran Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost all their three games in the IPL 2021 so far. However more than their defeat, the way they lost these games has hurt fans the most. SRH controlled the games for the most part and then fumbled in the final stages resulting in narrow and frustrating defeats. The defeats have broken the hearts of their fans.
The internet is full of images of SRH fans with their heartbroken expressions and one face that has become popular is of a girl who has been spotted during all SRH games cheering for the franchise. This has triggered the curiosity of netizens and it seems everyone wants to know who is this mystery girl. If you too are wondering about the same, here we tell you about Kavya Maran, the mystery girl spotted cheering for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Kaviya Maran is the daughter of SRH owner Kalanithi Maran. However, she is actively involved with franchise. She is a co-owner of the franchise and is also associated with Sun Music and FM channels of Sun TV.
Her father Kalanithi is the son of the former Union Minister of India Murasoli Maran and grand-nephew of former Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi. He is the chairman and founder of the Sun TV Group and has a stake in TV channels, newspapers, weeklies, FM Radio stations, DTH services and a movie production house.
Kavya was also spotted during the IPL auctions where she took active part in bidding for players and formulating the strategy with the rest of the Sunrisers think tank.
The 29-year-old was born on 06 August 1992. She has completed her post-graduation in Master of Business Administration (MBA) Kavya is interested in the Aviation and Media sectors.
SRH’s have followed the same format so far. The bowlers do well and contain the opposition. The top-order fires and just when it seems as if the team is going to cruise home, a batting collapse happens resulting in the team losing the game.
Hence, it will be interesting to see how SRH find a way to bolster their middle-order.
