Kevin Pietersen says “Sorry” to Sachin Tendulkar. Here’s Why

The pandemic has caused a great amount of damage to the whole world for the past 1 year. Due to the imposed lockdown, the IPL, as well as international series, were cancelled or postponed. The past season of PSL that was postponed got concluded in November 2020. In this year’s PSL, few players got tested positive which paved the way for the postponement of the tournament for the 2nd time. The series has been happening by following the strict bio-bubble protocols to avoid outside contacts. It all started with the Indian Premier League 2021 where Indian and overseas players experienced strict protocols.

Sachin Tendulkar Tests positive for Coronavirus

The former Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar posted on various social media platforms regarding his health. He also informed people that all the other members of the family were tested negative. The batsman was the leading run-scorer of the India Legends team in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series at Raipur.

Along with him, Yusuf Pathan informed on Saturday evening that he was also tested positive.  Both the players have said that those who have had close contact with them in the past few days should get themselves tested.

Why Kevin Pietersen said sorry to Sachin Tendulkar?

The former England batsman  Kevin Pietersen apologized to Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter.

When Pietersen tweeted about the people telling the world they have COVID, the people understood it as a target to Sachin Tendulkar. The former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was quick to reply to Pietersen’s tweet.

After Yuvraj’s tweet, he got a hint and finally got to know Sachin has tested positive and posted on social media platforms regarding his health. In another tweet, he said sorry to Sachin Tendulkar and told him to take care of himself.
