KKR Playing 11: Kolkata Knight Riders have finally registered a win after five straight losses. KKR defeated Rajasthan Royals in the previous fixture by 7 wickets and with that win, they have infused life in themselves and still remain in the playoffs hunt.
Lucknow Super Giants are in a red-hot form and toppling them won’t be easy for Kolkata Knight Riders. The Shreyas Iyer-led side has struggled particularly at the top. They have tried numerous combinations in the opening slot but none of those combinations have paid dividends. What opening combination will they come up with against LSG? We will have to wait and see.
Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders are yet to square off against each other. This would be their first meeting of the season.

Is Aaron Finch worthy of a place in the eleven? Australia’s limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch has been really careless with his shot selections. He has literally thrown his wicket every now and then and this hasn’t gone well with the team. Whether Finch will keep his place in the eleven or not still remains a question, but they do have Sam Billings to replace Finch at the top.
No changes in the bowling unit are expected. KKR’s bowling unit looks settled even without the likes of Pat Cummins and Varun Chakravarthy. The team is expected not to tinker with their bowling combination.
