KKR vs CSK Stats Preview

Kolkata Knight Riders’ tournament began with a win but after they have lost two back to back matches against Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Their batting performance has been poor in the last two matches and captain Morgan’s captaincy too has been poor. Their top order batsmen are in good touch and two of them need to score big runs like first match and in middle and lower order Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell need to do much better. In bowling spinner Varun Chkravartht has been good and the likes of Pat Cummins and Praisdh Krishna too have been decent but to strengthen their death overs bowling they should go for Lockie Ferguson in place of Shakib al Hasan.
On the other side, Chennai Super Kings have registered two back to back good wins. Their batting depth is their key and the likes of Moeen Ali, Faf du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina and Sam Curran have looked in good touch with the bat and team will hope opener Ruturaj Gaikwad too will come good. In bowling Deepak Chahar and Sam Curran have been taking wickets with new ball, Dwayne Bravo is doing his job in death overs and all rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Moeen Ali are doing good work in middle overs with spin.
