Rohit Sharma was on song against Windies at Mumbai, scoring 162 runs off just 137 balls. Apart from his seventh score of 150+ in One Day Internationals, the Indian opener surpassed many records and won many hearts. Hitman’s 21st ton in the 50-over format could not keep Windies legend Brian Lara from expressing his admiration for Rohit Sharma.

Fan of his concentration, says Lara

Speaking to Cricket Next, Brian Lara said, “I love his batting.” He added that Rohit’s “concentration” is what makes him such a big ODI player. “This is not only his seventh 150+ but he has also scored three double centuries previously. That is a sign that he loves to bat for a long time. In the past, I have seen many players going for the big shots after completing their century. But, that is not the case with Rohit Sharma. He never loses his concentration,” said Lara.
