MI Playing 11: In a quest to register their first win of the season, Mumbai Indians will travel to the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai to square off against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. The match will take place on April 21 at 7:30 in the evening.
Mumbai Indians are the only team this season eluded of a win. The 5-time champions have played 6 and lost all their matches. One more loss and they can consider themselves out of the Playoffs race. Rohit Sharma is completely out of touch and his bowlers including Jasprit Bumrah have been under the pump in almost every game.

Mumbai Indians struggling to find the right balance. The only constant in the 6 games Mumbai Indians have played so far is the fact that they have failed to find the right balance. Big names like Kieron Pollard, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ishan Kishan have failed miserably. Dewald Brevis from the last two games, and the evergreen Suryakumar Yadav have been the only positives for a struggling Mumbai Indians outfit so far.
Rohit Sharma has to step up with the bat. Not only this season. but Rohit Sharma has been struggling for form since the last three editions of IPL. His form with the bat has not come under scrutiny courtesy of Mumbai Indians doing well as a team, but this year, with the team struggling Rohit’s lackluster batting form has come under the scanner and its high time for the skipper to step up with the bat.

Changes aplenty are expected for Mumbai Indians. We might see Riley Meredith getting a nod ahead of Tymal Mills in this game. Also, there is a chance for Mayank Markande to make a return to MI’s XI after 4 years at the expense of Murugan Ashwin who has been good in bits and pieces. No changes in the batting unit are expected.
