MI Playing 11: Mumbai Indians have stunned one and all with back-to-back wins after losing 8 on the trot. They defended 9 runs in the last over in their previous match against the table-toppers Gujarat Titans and now they will march on to face Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday evening at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians have nothing to lose as they are the first team this season to take the exit route. They have no chance of qualifying for the playoffs, but they surely can trouble other teams and become the party spoilers. The Knight Riders are definitely looking for a win to stay in the playoff race, but will MI let KKR win?

MI has somehow managed two wins on the trot. Despite winning two on the trot, one couldn’t say that Mumbai Indians are at their best. They have somehow managed two wins but a collective performance is still due from their side.
Jasprit Bumrah and Kieron Pollard are completely out of touch? Mumbai’s biggest headache is in the form of two of its megastars, Kieron Pollard and Jasprit Bumrah. Pollard is struggling to get runs and has been striking around only 100 or so. Bumrah is not picking up wickets and leaking runs in almost every stage of the match. Mumbai Indians need both Pollard and Bumrah to be at their best.

Kieron Pollard’s place is definitely under scrutiny. He hasn’t played a valuable knock this season and might get replaced by either Fabian Allen or Dewald Brevis.
