Put into bat first, Mumbai Indians didn’t get off to a flying start. Although Suryakumar Yadav provided them the required momentum, MI kept losing wickets until vintage Pollard came to take the lead today and helped his side post a competitive total of 186/3.

In reply, KL Rahul and Aaron Finch came out all guns blazing to shift the game in Punjab’s favour. KL Rahul played a magnificent knock of 94 and he was supported by his teammate Aaron Finch who scored 45 runs off 35 balls.

Bumrah bowled the penultimate over to make things easier for McClenaghan and McClenaghan pulled it off in the last over to defend the total.

Mumbai indeed has pulled off the Houdini act yet again!
