MI vs PBKS: After Chennai Super Kings registering their first win, the stakes have become quite high for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in this ongoing 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Rohit Sharma-led MI side is still searching for their opening win in this T20 tournament after having conceded four successive disappointing defeats. Mumbai Indians are now gearing to face the Punjab Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on 13 April, 2022.
The Mumbai Indians team management are still struggling to find the right balance and need to settle out their playing combination with the best choice four overseas players. Mumbai went with just two foreign players in the last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore with Dewald Brevis and Kieron Pollard in the side. After some consistent poor outings, Daniel Sams is unlikely to return into the MI playing 11 while West Indies explosive all-rounder Fabian Allen is likely to make his debut in the match against Punjab Kings on Wednesday.
One of the two speedsters, Tymal Mills or Riley Meredith will accompany Jasprit Bumrah and Jaydev Unadkat in the side. Mumbai Indians are expected to play Dewald Brevis, Kieron Pollard, Fabian Allen and Riley Meredith as their four overseas players in the today IPL match.
