MI vs RR

MI vs RR: IPL 2022 is about to complete one week and so far it has been a treat to watch out for fans across the globe. Coming to Mumbai Indians, the Rohit Sharma-led failed to break the jinx of winning their first match of the tournament. What would hurt them is that they lost the match after bossing the game for the most of time. But one cannot write them off, considering their ability to come back.

MI vs RR: Mumbai Indians Player Availability for the match against Rajasthan Royals

After a disappointing loss to Delhi Capitals in their tournament opener, Mumbai Indians would be eager to make a comeback and stake their claim in the tournament. They will next take on Rajasthan Royals on Saturday (2nd April) in afternoon encounter at DY Patil Stadium.

MI had a decent outing with the bat in their first game against Delhi Capitals. However, they were without their star players in Suryakumar Yadav for their previous fixture.

In what will be a massive boost for MI, Suryakumar has regained his full fitness and will be available for their next match against Rajasthan Royals. The right-hander suffered an injury during the recently concluded West Indies series, following which he underwent rehab at NCA.

He joined MI’s camp after completing his rehab and underwent three day’s isolation upon his arrival.  He also had a couple of quality net sessions after his quarantine  ahead of Saturday’s encounter. Heading into the game, the Rohit Sharma-led side will have all the players available except Jofra Archer, who will miss the entire tournament.
