Moeen Ali fit for CSK vs SRH: The MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have enjoyed a sensational run so far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season. Chennai Super Kings have now won four games in a row and all those wins have come on the back of comprehensive performances by team and they have just loss a single game this season against Delhi Capitals. CSK will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their sixth match of the season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi later today.
Chennai Super Kings’ all-rounder Moeen Ali missed the last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore due to an injury. However, during the match in an interview, CSK batsman Robin Uthappa informed that Moeen’s injury is not that serious and he missed the game as a precautionary measure. Uthappa also mentioned that the England all-rounder should be back on the field for the next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Moeen Ali has done remarkably well for the Chennai Super Kings this season both with the bat and ball. Moeen played a crucial knock of 46 runs off 31 balls in the win against Punjab Kings and also took brilliant figures of 3 for 7 against Rajasthan Royals. The CSK all-rounder has so far scored 133 runs at a strike-rate of 152.87 and has also picked 4 wickets at an economy of 6.33 in 4 matches this IPL season.
In case Moeen Ali is termed fit for this game, Dwayne Bravo will have to make way for him in the playing XI for today match against SRH. However, veteran leg-spinner Imran Tahir who ended up picking two crucial wickets in his first match of the season against RCB is also likely to retain his place in the playing XI.
