Most Wickets in IPL: In the T20 format, it has often been said that it is the bowlers who win matches while batsmen set up the game. Over the years as witnessed in the Indian Premier League (IPL), many of the world class spin bowlers have displayed some tremendous performances to trap even the best of batsmen. The ongoing 15th edition of the Indian Premier League has also seen some outstanding performances from the spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar and Rashid Khan.
While playing for the Rajasthan Royals (RR), right-arm leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has reach another milestone as he has surpassed former Indian spin legend Harbhajan Singh to complete 151 IPL wickets. Chahal has now become the fifth highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League. The leggie reached the landmark after he dismissed Abhinav Manohar in the ongoing IPL 2022 match against Gujarat Titans.
In his overall IPL career, Yuzvendra Chahal has taken as many as 151 wickets from a total of 119 matches at an economy of less than 8 and an average of 21.41. Dwayne Bravo is still the highest wicket-taker in the history of the tournament with 171 scalps in 153 games.

Yuzvendra Chahal Stats in IPL
After having lost the toss and asked to bat first, the Gujarat Titans (GT) have batted excellently well and managed to post a mammoth total of 192 for 4 in their quota of 20 overs on the scoreboard. GT skipper Hardik Pandya led his team from the front with a fabulous unbeaten innings of 87 runs off just 52 deliveries that consisted of 8 fours and 4 sixes while youngster Abhinav Manohar also smashed a crucial knock of 43 runs off 28 balls.
