No Rohit Sharma in Alex Carey’s IND-AUS Combined T20I XI

One of the young and budding cricketers in the Australian cricket circuit in Alex Carey has picked an India-Australia combined T20 XI in which he expunged the second leading run getter in the T20I history in Rohit Sharma.

The southpaw who recently got his first IPL contract with Delhi Capitals for this season is yet to make his debut for the franchise. If not for the corona pandemic, Alex Carey would have made his debut in IPL. In the recent twitter post from his franchise Delhi Capitals, it was seen that he has picked an interesting all time T20 XI thant included only the Indian and the Australian players.

Alex Carey picks himself in the XI

Indian captain and vice captain are the top 2 run getters in the T20I cricket history and leading others in the chart by a mile. Alex Carey made an interesting choice of picking the dynamic Shikhar Dhawan ahead of the dangerous Rohit Sharma for the opening slot along with the pocket dynamite David Warner. The #1 batsman in the longer format of the game in Steve Smith will take the no:3 spot followed by the Indian captain at no:4.

The middle order will be manned by Alzex Carey himself along with the fearless and ruthless Rishabh Pant. He also picked Ravindra Jadeja as the only all rounder to bat at no:7 in his team.

Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian bowler in Carey’s team

The bowling line up has been packed with Australian bowlers with Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and the leggie Adam Zampa. Only Jasprit Bumrah from India found a place in Alex Carey’s team.
The #1 bowler in the Australian cricket at the moment in Pat Cummins was bought for a whopping 15.50 crore by the KKR franchise to play in this edition of IPL.
