Prasidh Krishna Yorker: KKR’s Bowler Dismissed Jos Buttler With A Scorching Yorker

For a few moments, England were facing the heat. Ben Stokes was playing one shot too many despite so close to a deserving hundred. Bhuvneshwar Kumar‘s slow bounce did him, while Jonny Bairstow soon followed him, caught out by Virat Kohli off Prasidh Krishna‘s ball.

In came Jos Buttler. Krishna was upbeat and bowled two dot balls. The 25-year-old, who represents Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL, then bowled a perfect yorker which was too good to negotiate for Butler who hardly had his eyes in at the pitch.

India vs England: Shorthanded Visitors Hammered Virat Kohli And Co.

India bettered their score from the 1st ODI and racked up 336 runs on board after batting first. KL Rahul scored a hundred and topped the scoring charts for India with 108 runs, while Virat (66) and Rishabh Pant (77) also made significant contributions.

But English openers, Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow, once again took the fight to the Indian bowlers and put on a hundred-run partnership. A mishap between the wickets, resulting in Roy’s run-out, opened the door for India, like in the first ODI, but there was no deja vu for the Men in Blue this time around.

Ben Stokes arrived and hit the ball right from the off. The Rajasthan Royals all-rounder was too hot to handle and snatched the game away from India with a force. Stokes made 99 runs, while Bairstow ended on 124 runs as England made the mickey out of India’s total, winning in 43.3 overs.
