The Punjab Kings, earlier knows as Kings XI Punjab will be one of the entertaining teams to watch out in the IPL 2021. The openers of the team, Chris Gayle and KL Rahul have been terrific in the past few seasons for the team. While, in the middle-order, Mayank Singh and Mandeep Singh were the top Indian players, while Nicholas Pooran played his natural game and impressed everybody. This year, the team recruited exciting T20 talent from the auction pool of players. The fast bowler from Australia, Jhye Richardson will team -up with Mohammad Shami in the bowling department. They have built a strong base in the middle-order as well with buying Moises Henriques and Dawid Malan.
The Punjab Kings franchise unveiled their new jersey on March 30 on the social media platform Twitter. They shared the video of their new red and golden jersey. Several fans found the new jersey similar to the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey which they wore in the first 3 seasons of the Indian Premier League. The helmet’s color will be gold for this season.
