Williamson the savior as SRH make 175

Batting first, Wriddhiman Saha once again gave SRH a quick start with 20 off 11 balls while Martin Guptill scored 30 off 23 balls. Washington Sundar removed Guptill and Manish Pandey in the same over to push SRH on the back-foot.

However, skipper Kane Williamson scored 70 off just 43 balls and added 45 runs for the fourth wicket with Vijay Shankar (27 off 18 balls) to resurrect SRH’s innings.

But RCB pacers struck back in the death overs and took quick wickets to restrict SRH to 175 runs.  Nitin Saini was effective and claimed two wickets in his four overs.

Hetmyer-Gurkeerat weave match-winning partnership
