Virat Kohli STUNNED Reaction to Rishabh Pant Poor Shot: Former India captain Virat Kohli is one character who is always in the limelight due to his stature at the international level. India is playing South Africa in the ongoing third and final ODI match at the Newlands in Cape Town.

After India had lost the crucial wicket of a set batsman in Shikhar Dhawan, explosive batter Rishabh Pant was expected to play a lot maturely with skipper Virat Kohli batting really well at the other end. However, instead Pant gifted his wicket away after playing a poor, reckless shot that went straight into the hands of the sweeper cover fielder. All the Indian cricket fans and even Kohli looked stunned at the other end as the left-handed wicket-keeper walked back to the pavilion for a golden duck.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, South Africa have posted a challenging first innings total of 287 runs in 49.5 overs where Quin Ton de Kock was the star performer contributing with a sensational innings of 124 runs off 130 balls that included 12 fours and 2 sixes. The in-form Rassie van der Dussen also scored yet another fine half-century while David Miller smashed 39 runs off 38 balls towards the end. For India, Prasidh Krishna finished with three wickets while Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah also picked up two wickets each.

In reply, even after losing the big wicket of skipper KL Rahul early during the run-chase, the senior batting pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli batted with a lot of responsibility. The duo added a wonderful partnership of 98 runs for the second wicket before Dhawan got out for an impressive 73-ball 61. India once again were reduced into trouble as Rishabh Pant too failed to trouble the scorers. Kohli was looking quite well set on the crease having crossed the half-century mark before losing his concentrating while losing his wicket in the form of a soft dismissal. Things have become really difficult for the visitors in this run-chase as Shreyas Iyer has once again been trapped in the short-ball prey by South African pacer Sisanda Magala.
