See Pics: Indian Cricketers like Sachin, Rohit & Rahane celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival celebrated pan-India which is richly observed by Maharashtrian Community. Every year streets are filled with colour and cheers as people celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesha so does our cricketing stars did! They celebrated the festival and put their videos, photos on Instagram as well. From Sachin Tendulkar to Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane to Unmukt Chand every cricketer celebrated the festival in its own way.

Indian stand-in captain Rohit Sharma posted a photo with a caption, “Ganesh Chaturthi has always been one of my favourite festivals since I was a kid! #BappaMoraya.”

Along with him, Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar posted a photo of him on Instagram celebrating the birth of Lord Ganesha. He captioned the image, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to everyone. #GanpatiBappaMorya,”

Another Mumbaikar talent, Ajinkya Rahane shared a photo of him celebrating the festival. He captioned, “May Lord Ganesha showers his love and blessings on all of us. Happy #GaneshChaturthi! #GanpatiBappaMorya.”

Cricketers like Suresh Raina, Unmukt Chand and Hardik Pandya shared their message with the fans over Twitter and Instagram by posting photos and videos.


What’s next?

The stand-in Captain Rohit Sharma with his limited over specialists is on its way to UAE for Asia Cup. The defending champion will face the challenge coming all the way from Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. The Tournament will commence from 15 September 2018 in UAE. India are not well versed with the conditions as they will play their first match in UAE after a long period of 12 years. It will be a bigger opportunity than a weakness for India.

The Dubai International Stadium, Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi are set to host the upcoming matches of the Asia Cup. Let’s see who will take the challenge head-on to become the Asian Champion, or it will be the same story with different consequences!
