Brisbane Heat playing 11: Brisbane Heat have slipped down for one more time after a defeat against Melbourne Stars in their previous game. They had Melbourne Stars reeling at 3 wickets for 16 runs but some pathetic bowling since then allowed Melbourne Stars to score a massive total that Heat fell well short of while chasing it.
The only positive for them was the partnership between Chris Lynn and Ben Duckett who showed off what they are capable of as they both compliment very well considering their respective skillsets but even they couldn’t help Heat go past the finishing line.
Heat are expected to go in with the same squad for this game unless they want the batting all rounder in Jack Wildermuth for Liam Guthrie.
They could have taken the game from Stars had Chris Lynn batted in a calculated manner instead of attacking Qais Ahmad which is his unfavorable matchup. It was not needed at that point as well as Chris Lynn had other bowlers stacked up for his liking.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman had a decent game against Stars when compared to his previous other games.
