The medium pace bowler Sandeep Sharma has been a steady customer across the domestic cricket and Indian Premier League. He came into the limelight when he featured for India U19 team in 2012 under Unmukt Chand who lifted the title. Since, then he has been a consistent wicket-taker for Punjab team in Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Then, with the impressive performances, he made his India debut against Zimbabwe in 2015. In the Indian Premier League, he has been a mainstay since 2018 for Sunrisers Hyderabad, with a good support to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan.
An important announcement has been made by the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise on Twitter regarding the marriage of Sandeep Sharma. The franchise extended the wish and welcomed the wife of Sharma to SRH Family.
“A special addition to the #SRHFamily. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Sharma to a lifelong partnership! #OrangeOrNothing #OrangeArmy,” SRH franchise wrote on Twitter.
Sandeep Sharma got engaged to Tasha Sathwick in 2018.
The next few months will be very busy for the pacer Sandeep Sharma. He will proceed to UAE for playing Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad. All the players are expected to undergo 6-day isolation after arrival. He could only pick 1 wicket in 3 games in IPL 2021 Phase 1. Now, with situation getting stabilized and enough practice sessions, he can be a boon to the team’s campaign.
Then, the domestic season will kick-start from October, first with Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and then at the end of the year, Ranji Trophy will also start. The reliable pacer will be critical to the Punjab team’s success.
