Should Abdul Samad return to the eleven? Abdul Samad was one of the three individuals retained ahead of this year’s IPL auctions by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Samad did feature in the first two or three games for Hyderabad but got benched afterwards for Shashank Singh.

Shashank did well in bits and pieces for Hyderabad and taking on Lockie Ferguson for four sixes in the final over against GT was a sheer batting display from the right-hander. He has had his share of luck already this season but from the last 2 or 3 games, he hasn’t been at his best. His current form might force the SRH team management to bring in Samad who did a decent job batting at no 6 for SRH last season.
