SW Playing 11: Two-time champions Supernovas will face off against the Team Velocity in Match 2 of the Women’s T20 Challenge in Pune. Supernovas have a fairly experienced squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur. And will be hoping to come good against the Velocity led by the debutant captain Deepthi Sharma.
As of now, there are no injury concerns from the Supernovas camp. And hence all the main players are expected to be available for the fixture.

Will Harmanpreet bat up the order? Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur was the player of the tournament of the recently concluded Women’s Big Bash. Therefore she will be hoping to give herself more time in the middle by pushing herself up the order.

Supernovas mostly depended on Indian batters in the top order. Taniya Bhatia and Priya Punia may open the innings, followed by Harleen Deol and captain Harmanpreet Kaur. The captain is in the form of her life, after a successful big bash stint. The world-class duo of Sophie Ecclestone and Alana King will form the core of the bowling unit with the emerging Indian pacer Meghna Singh.
