Talking about T20Is, Indian bowlers have developed various variations and have taken the side forward with their performances and skills.
Indian Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20 Internationals
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal are the Indian Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20 Internationals. They both so far has taken 85 wickets in the shortest format of the game. While the pacer has taken 79 matches to achieve the milestone, the leg-spinner has taken just 69 matches to take wickets at an economy of 8.12.
Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is the third Indian pacer with most wickets in T20Is. The right-arm quick bowler has taken 70 matches in 60 games so far at an economy of impressive 6.62. The next to him is R Ashwin, who has scalped 66 wickets in 59 games at an economy of 6.80.
Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are fifth and sixth respectively on the list of Indian Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20 Internationals. The all-rounders have scalped 54 and 51 wickets in 73 and 64 games respectively at an economy of 8.33 and 7.04.
Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav also finds himself in the list of Indian Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20 Internationals. The leg-spinner has taken 44 wickets in 25 games at an economy of 6.89 whereas Ashish Nehra is next to him on 34 wickets from 27 games at an economy of 7.73.
Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel sits 9th and 10th on the list of Indian Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20 Internationals. The pacer has scalped 33 wickets at an economy of 9.15 in 25 matches whereas Axar Patel has 31 wickets from 31 games.
