The Royal Challengers Bangalore have been regarded as one of the hottest properties in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Though they are yet to lift the invaluable trophy since the inception of the tournament, the Men in Red have had quite a bit individual brilliance over the years that has turned a lot of cricketing heads when in action. It was in the year 2011 when the mighty Jamaican was brought in from the Knight Riders in place of fast bowler Dirk Nannes. But little did we know that the ‘Universe Boss,’ would be one of, if not the most dominating batsman in the IPL. Chris Gayle scored over 600 runs in his first three seasons for RCB, which also including the unparalleled knock of an unbeaten 175 against the Pune Warriors India in 2013. The former West Indies captain scored a total of 3163 runs with a strike rate of 151.20 from 85 games for the Royal Challengers before making a move to Kings XI Punjab in 2018.
