Sachin Tendulkar was named after his father’s favourite singer “Sachin Dev Burman” 

Sachin Tendulkar was the first active cricketer player from India to be nominated for the Rajya Sabha. 

Sachin Tendulkar once fielded for Pakistan as a substitute fielder. He achieved this unique record when India was playing against Pakistan in a practice match in 1988 at the Brabourne Stadium 

Sachin Tendulkar was the batsman in the history of cricket to be given out by the third umpire. The God of cricket was in a Test match against South Africa in Durban was run out by Jonty Rhodes.
