Ab de villiers loses shoe 3TC match

The Cricket South Africa (CSA) board conducted a charity event in Super Sport Park Centurion in a new format of Cricket called the 3TC. On the historic day for South Africa that is the Nelson Mandela day, cricket South Africa decided to resume cricket for fans. The Corona Virus is still prevalent in the African nation and there was strict protocols followed during the match.

Return of AB DE VILLIERS

This charity event that happened today in South Africa saw the much anticipated return to cricket for the superstar batsman AB de Villiers. Mr 360 as he is known popularly for his audacious shorts all around the ground was chosen as the captain of one of the three teams that was participating in today’s game.

Ab De Villiers the captain of Eagles team came in to bat in the second over of Eagles innings. He came in at #3 after the fall of Rassie Van Der Dussen. De Villiers got off the mark with his first delivery with a single down to long on. Soon he was given a reprieve early on his innings as he was dropped by the wicket-keeper of the bowling of Tabraiz Shamsi.

Eagles clinch gold medal

Even though the commentators had a laugh at the moment Ab De Villiers lost his shoe it was AB de Villiers who had the last laugh as his team won the three 3 TC event by scoring the most runs in the end of the day. AB de Villiers and Aiden Markram with blistering fifties to help their team to the gold medal. Pretorius also scored a 50 and Jon-Jon Smuts managed 48. Stuurman finished with two wickets.
