One of the best fielders in cricket, David Miller produced another brilliant fielding in the covers in the third One Day International between South Africa and Australia at Potchefstroom on Saturday.
David Miller is not someone you can take on the field and sneak runs from. It was the 43rd over of the Australia innings with Marnus Labuschange on strike. As Jon-Jon Smuts bowled at Labuschange who pushed the half volley towards cover. David Miller, who was alert at the cover position, latched on to the ball and returned the ball to wicket-keeper in quick time. The response was too quick and Mitchell Marsh could not make to the crease at the strikers' end.
Riding on the back of Marnus Labuschange‘s superb maiden hundred, Australia scored 254/7 in 50 overs. South Africa are leading 2-0 in the three-match series.
