Watch: Guptill hilariously uses cuss word for Chahal; Rohit can’t stop laughing

Martin Guptill might not have won the second T20I for New Zealand against India, but he did surely became the centre of the attention after the match. During the post-match show, some India players were seen chatting on the field at the Eden Park in Auckland. At this moment, Yuzvendra Chahal stole the mic from TV presenter Jatin Sapru and walked right into Martin Guptill and Rohit Sharma who were having a chat. The response of Guptill is what the whole internet is laughing about.

Yuzvendra Chahal is known his famous show ‘Chahal TV’ where he interviews his teammates after every match. In an attempt to replicate that, when Chahal walked to Martin Guptill for a chat, the New Zealand opener turned around and said, “Kya hai Gandu”, without even realising that it could be heard on the mic. Rohit Sharma standing on the side couldn’t control his laughter while Chahal casually indicated to Guptill that is mic was on. Guptill then embraced Chahal which made it evident that it was friendly banter between the two players. Watch the video here:

“Gandu” is a cuss word in Hindi and is commonly used by many in India. We can guess that Martin Guptill would have heard the word during his travels to India for tours or for the IPL. The hilarious moment on television was a treat for the Indian fans and people on the internet couldn’t stop laughing.

India dominate the Kiwis again

Martin Guptill was the top scorer for the Kiwis with 33 runs from 20 balls. But, a brilliant bowling effort by the Indians restricted the hosts for just 132 for 5. After the early hiccup, India cruised to the target on the back of a classy 57 by KL Rahul. He reached the target with 15 balls to spare and took a lead of 2-0 in the five-match T20I series.
