Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah took Twitter to share an old clip of his batting on Tuesday. Ace pace bowler – Jasprit Bumrah shared an old clip from 2017 Vijay Hazare Trophy match where he played a key knock with his bat.

As former Indian batsman, Yuvraj Singh made fun of Bumrah’s batting skills during their Instagram Live session recently, Bumrah posted an old clip from Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017 of a match between Gujarat and Goa. In that game, Bumrah helped Gujarat to post a total of 277/9 while batting first. He played a vital knock of 42 runs off just 20 balls for his team. Later Gujarat dismissed Goa for 199 and won the game by 78 runs.

In the clip, Jasprit Bumrah could be seen smashing bowlers all over the park. Posting on Twitter, Bumrah captioned it – “On popular demand (mostly by Yuvraj Singh), here’s presenting Jasprit Bumrah’s match-winning knock of 2017!”

Background of the story:

Bumrah has posted after Yuvraj Singh mocked him for his batting skills. During their Instagram Live session, Yuvi told Bumrah –

“You have a highest of 10 in ODIs, 10 in Tests, and 16 runs in IPL. You have a total of 82 runs in 80 first-class class games.”

However, the 26-years old pacer was quick to remind the particular knock he played against Goa.

I have a highest of 20-ball 42 runs against Goa,

replied Jasprit Bumrah.
