The ICC Women’s World T20 kicked off last Friday on the 21st of February and the matches are happening in full flow. The Indian women have had a bright start to their campaign with two wins in their opening two matches against Australia and Bangladesh. The Indians will lock horns with the kiwis in their third game of the tournament.
Ahead of the clash against the New Zealanders Indian women were confident of a win to make it a hat trick of wins in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20. The mood in the camp was lively and everyone seems to enjoy their role in the team.
Especially Jemimah Rodrigues is having an upbeat mood. She was seen showing off her dancing skills with an off duty security guard here in Melbourne. ICC shared a video of Jemimah shaking her leg with the security guard. ICC wrote, “Yes, @JemiRodrigues! Busting moves with an off-duty security guard at the #T20WorldCup”.
The official ICC Twitter handle had posted this video clip of Jemima Rodrigues and the security guard dancing and the fans responded with showering love and praise to the cricketer.
The middle-order batter Jemimah Rodrigues has had a successful outing so far in the world T20 by scoring 26 and 34 in her 2 innings against Australia and Bangladesh. There is enough reason to be happy for her as her contributions have been instrumental in India’s wins.
India will take on a confident New Zealand side in their third match. New Zealand are also unbeaten so far in this tournament as they won their opening game against Sri Lanka and the game against India is their second game.
This is a top of the table clash in Group A and the winner will strengthen their position at the top of the table.
